Non-shifter threats and shifter politicsAnother awesome addition to the series。 Non-shifter threats are aimed at Jesse and his growing pack。 Shifter politics abound and character development continues apace。 This series is a dark twist compared to other series by Eric Vall， but just as great as his other series to date。 Now I need book 5。

Mother great。addition to the shifter storyline！Jesse，aka the ALPHA， gets a message that the parents of the late Aiden and Max wish to see him！ And Jesse gets a shock regarding the wier tradition regarding the deposed Alphas children！ And on top there seems to。be a plot afoot to attack the ALPHA！ And it seems that a government agency is sniffing around！ Never a dull moment for an innocent shifter king。！
